{The Illuminating Masterpiece in explaining the Introductory texts of al-Aajuroomiyyah}
By: Dr. ‘Abdul-Hameed Hindaawee
Published by: Daar-ul-Kutub al-‘Ilmiyyah
Pages: 144 in paperback form
This is a very beneficial explanation written in a modern style for those who are new to the text of al-Aajuroomiyyah or for those who need a more visual presentation of the basic rules of an-Nahw.
The author begins with a brief introduction and then using the style of ash-Shaykh Muhammad Muhyee-ud-Deen’s at-Tuhfah as-Saniyyah (the Precious Masterpiece), he explains the linguistic meaning of an-Nahw.
(Text of al-Aajuroomiyyah after introduction)
After this preparatory introduction he includes a magnificent bold font version of the complete text of al-Aajuroomiyyah. It is easy on the eye and makes for easier memorization. I have included the first page of the text above.
(Inside of book)Completing this text version is a wonderful explanation of al-Aajuroomiyyah, expressed in a manner in which even the beginning student of Arabic who is gaining fluency in the language can understand. The author brilliantly uses tables and charts to reinforce review of each lesson in addition to Q&A that covers the explanation to see how much one has retained at the end of the lesson. What I really enjoy in this book is the author’s usage of text from the Quraan and Ahadeeth to illustrate the grammar rules.
(Index of Book)The only complaint I had was that the font used for the Index was very small and hard for me to read, others may not have that problem. I have posted the index below so you be the judge.
I purchased this book from Fadak Books and while they do have some books that I do not recommend, some of the books of Ahl-us-Sunnah wal-Jama’ah are listed. The prices are reasonable as well.
